I Toy Piano Brasil Showcase

We are really thrilled to announce the 1st Toy Piano Brazil Showcase!

 

It will take place on October 29, 30 and 31, 2025 in João Pessoa, at the Federal University of Paraíba.

 

The 1st Toy Piano Brazil Showcase is part of the 9th International Contemporary Piano Meeting. The International Contemporary Piano Meeting is one of the most important contemporary piano events in Latin America. It brings together professional pianists, piano teachers and students from all over the world for performances, lectures and round tables, all focusing on today's piano repertoire and innovative practices on our beloved instrument.

 

The Toy Piano Brazil Showcase will present toy piano performances and recordings throughout the Meeting's program.

 

On October 31st, from 1pm to 4pm, there will be a session dedicated to the toy piano, where we will have a talk with the renowned Italian toy pianist Antonietta Loffredo, a workshop with the amazing composer and toy pianist Stacey Barelos, and  a sheet music reading session led by the Toy Piano Brasil team where everyone will have the opportunity to play the toy pianos and make music together.

 

We also have some international guests who will make very special appearances. This is a surprise that we will confirm soon.

 

To end our event with a bang, we will raffle off an Essenfelder EM58 toy piano among the participants of the Toy Piano Showcase!
